Business Development Manager

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Oil & Gas in the Americas, the key responsibilities will entail the following: Sales Strategy and Delivery, Sales Forecasting, Channel Management, and Market Sector Strategic Deployment.

The position requires Senior Sales & Business Development experience in manufacturing (industrial engineering ideal).

Delivery of sales against agreed targets for given channel partner accounts, developing and implementing effective channel growth strategies to US channel partners, and creating marketing programs that create interest for channel partners to drive Rotork business.

The Opportunity

Using value added sales techniques, coordinating with end market regional leaders to drive Service initiatives, and developing sales plans aligned to the end market sales strategy.

Feed business intelligence into Commercial functions, work with Engineering teams to build product roadmaps and new product delivery, contribute to price planning and lead sales teams cross functionally to deliver against the company’s vision and strategy.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven track record of success, (4+) years of experience in a similar role

  • Good command of English, (both spoken and written)

  • Senior sales and Business Development experience in manufacturing ideal
